The Truth About “The Great Deception”
Part 5
Signs of the Times
♦ “And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. (Matthew 24:6 – 12)
No time in history more accurately reflects this and other biblical descriptions of the end times. No entity has more power over human affairs than the global corporate reality in these times. Consider these comparisons:
Jesus on the pursuit of wealth:
♦ “And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.”(Matthew 19:24)
The whole concept of corporate function is focused on wealth at all cost. By law, corporate officers are required to consider the financial gain of their investors above any, and all other considerations.
♦ “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”(1 Timothy 6:10)
Money, and the unwavering pursuit of it, is the root of all corporate function, law, and structure.
When asked by a ruler what he needed to do to live forever, Jesus gave this answer:
♦ “… Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.” (Luke 18:22)
Such a rash action will only be found in the very worst nightmares of those who worship capitalism and feed at the corporate trough. Surely there are those amongst the rich elite who are benevolent, but none would consider giving everything they own to the poor.
This is the financial model of the first church, as inspired by the Spirit of God:
♦ “And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.”(Acts 2:44 – 45)
The concept of the sharing of common wealth amongst all men is an anathema to the corporate world, and vigorously opposed by all governmental entities embracing capitalism, the environment that nurtures corporate power.
The rush for riches is dealt with very clearly in scripture:♦ “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:” (Matthew 6:19),
♦ “So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.” (Luke 12:21), and:
♦ “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” (Matthew 6:21}
The very nature of investing in corporations is the accumulation of wealth on this Earth.
The Bible is also clear about where one should strive to accumulate wealth:
♦ “But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:” (Matthew 6:20)
In the capitalistic corporate world such a concept is jokingly known as “pie in the sky”.
Through John the Apostle, Jesus reveals that a great world entity will give life to an icon that will have the power to kill humans and exercise worldwide financial control.
♦ “And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.” (Revelation 13:15)
Corporations, the icons and proudly held representations of Capitalism, the world’s strongest power, which is defended and promoted by the world’s greatest militaries, have the same rights and powers as living human beings.
Jesus also revealed that this icon of the great power would have the power of speech (Revelation 13:15, above)
Corporations now have not only the right of free speech; corporations have the right to misrepresent the truth, while exercising that right of free speech.
Jesus tells John that this living, speaking, and very powerful icon will institute a form of control over all financial transactions worldwide, using some type of mark that is given to all humans.
♦ ”And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. (Revelation 13:16 – 17)
Implantable biochip identification technology is rapidly growing as the preferred choice of security in this age of the “Terrorist Threat”. Use of this technology is openly being considered as a perfect solution to safe and efficient financial transactions. Global Positioning Technology, GPS, which is the means of conveying the transfer of the information required for this technology, is in place now. It is already used in a number of commercial applications, and can be brought to bear on a global scale to facilitate such global control of all financial transactions immediately.
After the great power is defeated, Jesus reveals that the true source of the deception of humanity has always been the great merchants of the world. (Revelation 18:23)
Global corporations are the “great merchants” of the world. An interesting aspect of the prophecies described in Revelation 18, speak of the center of this, the financial activity, as being Babylon, found in modern day Iraq. Constitutional experts, who have reviewed the new Iraqi constitution, say it will turn the financial infrastructure of the nation into a virtual Corporate Disneyland.
