There are three resurrections recorded in the Old Testament. Six specific incidences of Resurrection are recorded in the New Testament as well as an unspecified number of resurrections immediately following the death of Jesus. Five men performed resurrections: Elijah, Paul, and Peter are each recorded as having raised one person from the dead. Counting himself, Jesus resurrected four people from death and Elisha raised one when he was alive and his bones raised another after his death. This certainly ranks only second to the creation of life as the most advanced of the powers of the Elohiym.

So he called her. And when she was come in unto him, he said, Take up thy son.

And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. 42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me. 43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
